Martin supposes there's no reason a disoriented American shouldn't be surprised to hear an English accent, and he knows from experience that the brain chooses to fixate on all kinds of absurd details when dealing with shock, but he's still a little thrown by the question. "Er, yes," he answers, trying to remain steady and calm for their benefit. "I'm Martin, Martin Blackwood. And this, er, well..." He shakes his head slightly. "Did you just... arrive? I mean, like... from somewhere else?"
